This unit is managed by our institution psychologist. 0-6 age period has a very important role in human development. This is the fastest development period for physical, cognitive and emotional development and all activities lay a base in this period. Guiding children in this period is very important.

Other than determining those on above, for the education of the children to be carried both at school and at home, a connection has to be created between the school and family. For this reason, our school performs studies under the name ‘school-family cooperation’.

Registration period; When family first comes, information is taken about children’s background.

Adapting to school; Children’s adaptation to school and the support given are reported daily to families.

Meeting with parents; Our child is observed by our psychologist for one month. After this period family is invited to school and family is informed about child’s development, observations at school and what should be done at home. Meetings continue according to psychologist or the family.

Family involvements; Families choose a subject in order to spend time with their children at school (story telling, kitchen talents, etc.). They come to school on the days determined.

Sharing with families;

         All monthly events and activities are shared with the families before

          Information and recommendations are sent to families every month

          By children’s daily communication notebooks, both the school and the family are informed about the children

Development tests; our psychologist applies development tests to observe and follow up children’s development. Moreover, she can apply WISC-R intelligence test.
